I was watching t.v. last night and a commercial for this institute for humancontinuity came up. They are proclaiming the end of the world in 2012 in keeping with the Mayan Calendar. They were encouraging people to go to their site and sign up for a lottery to survive the end of the world.

So of course I am curious. When you go to the site it gives a demonstration of how the sun is going to burn up the earth in a few different possible ways. It also has a page where you can put in your name and contact info so you can be part of the limited population in the new earth that will arise out of the destruction. It even suggests you could be the Leader.

On the bottom of the page it has links to various movie studios, but I did not click on them as they were pop-ups and tend to be vary cautious. One blog I found suggested it was viral site. I don't exactly know what that means but it didn't sound good. I haven't gone back. Anyone else heard of this IHC?

it seem to me that over the relative little time i have been here there has been a dramatic increase in crazy people, ie.

people who think they are god, create alternative profiles just to distract, write incoherent bullshit in all-caps, bring up the same tired paranoid rants again and again, etc.

now i dont doubt that many of these people really need professional help, and perhaps having a lot of people from here doing a mix of rediculing them and trying to convince them to see a doctor will eventually help them, but i feel that its something which distract the focus from those who have something coherent to say, and those who are sincere in asking for help.

I think that they are witnesses who are trying to do exactly that. Distract from the actual content and make this forum look fanatical. Maybe even high-ups who knows, they are irrational people.

Irony just came to my door

i was just downloading the 1969 awake article that proclaims the end is giong to be in a few years and youth should expect to not grow old.

as i was reading it i was reflecting on all the people who are around my age (mid 30's) who were not even born when this article came out.. then my dog started barking.

i looked out the window and seen a mini van group full of 30 something jdubs preparing to call on me.

Then my dog started barking. I looked out the window and seen a mini van group full of 30 something Jdubs preparing to call on me. These are all (except one) people I grew up with. They clearly don't know I live here. So I answer the door;

" Hello I say. "

Then a 36 year old close (former)friend of mine says," Oh I didn't know you lived here!".

"Well, I do," I said

"I thought you lived ( and then he says where he thought I lived)"

" Nope this is my house, what are you boys up to today?"I asked

"Well obviously were out looking for sheep like ones" Then they turn and leave.

Now that was a little rough. It took everything in my power not to make goat noises all the time they were scurrying back to the van.

I would love to know what they were talking about in the car. How are they explaining me to the guy who didn't know me. And what are they doing out in service at 11:00 in the afternoon on a tues. Can they all have today off? Get jobs already.

Anyway thanks for letting me vent.

P.s. I am not df'ed or anything. So I guess I am not even worthy of some encouragment.

because (1) they belie the (new) covenant to which they claim to be a party; they do this because they don't know/understand the terms of that new covenant, the greatest of which is love; (2) they don't know the term love, because they lack two of its elements, mercy and forgiveness; (3) they don't understand what it means to "forgive," as don't most of earthling man.. to "forgive," dear ones, means to let go of a debt before it is even owed: forgive.

Does EPO contain blood fractions?( wiki-pedia)

While erythropoietin itself is not a blood product, some brands of the synthetic form do have a very small amount of a blood fraction added to them. The epoetin-alfa formulation (Epogen®, Procrit®) contains 2.5 mg human serum albumin. The albumin first prevents the pharmaceutical from sticking to the vial, and then acts as a carrier molecule to help the EPO remain in the bloodstream until it reaches its destination at the bone marrow.

Two formulations of Eprex®, one of which replaces albumin with polysorbate as a stabilizer, are available in Canada and other countries. [1] Recormon® is also albumin-free, with polysorbate being the stabilizer. [1] Aranesp® comes in two formulations, one contains albumin; the other is albumin-free. [1]

I wonder which one they used.

I know that this is very expensive stuff. In Canada to get 6 vials of 0.4ml. is $510.00C. At a vial a day that can add up fast. I can take from 2 to 6 weeks to work.(from my experience)

Did the Bethel pick up the tab? When my Family member needed it they certainly didn't offer to pay. But they did supply a hemotologist who prescribed it over the phone. Nice Eh?

Serious Omissions in New Watchtower Book

the society's latest book, "bearing thorough witness about god's kingdom" contains two serious omissions.. first, on page 105, it offers an outright lie about the organization and the bible.

impartial observers have recognized this fact.

I think it is safe to say that the "older men" were using this book to focus on the importance of obediance. It seems as if they didn't want to disect these particular scriptures(Acts 15: 22-29) but rather to point out how "harmony and belief of action prevail among Jehovah's Witnesses today.....Principally, the unity results from the clear and decisive direction that Jesus Christ provides through the faithful and discreet slave." (aka governing body)

This Book is not about doctrine. It is about Obediance. Total reliance on the interpretation of scripture as seen by the Governing Body.

This book will be studied in the bookstudy I'm sure. It is exactly what the "sheep" need. Anyone who is beginning to think on their own will be Rebrainwashed into thinking that they are powerless without the supreme guidance of the GB. And while studying these passages they will disect the scripture. The question for para. 13b asks," What good was accomplished by sending a letter from the governing body?"

If I was answering as a good witness I would say " We as Jehovah's people learned how we can receive Jehovah's blessings and favor. Namely abstain from things sacrificed to idols and blood and fornication."

They can forsee how the average witness will feel when reading it because all the hints have been given and indoctrinated mindwork has already been done.
